Each year, according to the National Health Review Survey and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), 95% of smokers who stop smoking will relapse (between 1-12 months) and continue to use tobacco products. These statistics unquestionably confirm that the current one-causal methods to stop smoking (chemical, herbal and cold turkey) are inadequate, costly and strengthen the belief that you are addicted to nicotine products. Continual quit attempts, followed by short-term relapse events, only enhance this belief.
In conducting over 1,400 patient trials, smokers found that nicotine addiction was rather mild, but the fear of harsh withdrawl, weight gain and emotional loss had them using addiction more as an excuse to continue smoking rather than the main cause.
My studies concluded that approximately 85% of smokers smoked as a result of habit. This quiz was designed to help you understand that there are forces at work within your smoking habit that willpower and a pill, patch, spray or gum will not affect or eliminate.

If you answered YES to six or more of the preceding questions, you most likely have developed Habitual Smoking Syndrome and will see little or no results from chemical therapy. As I studied the tobacco epidemic, it became apparent that people were smoking from numerous habitual effects that could not be controlled within the logical conscious mind.
