Brandy Astwood is a respected Hypnotherapist, who has assisted hundreds of people make positive changes,with the safe and simple use of hypnosis.

In 2002 Brandy opened the doors to The Solution Within Renewal Center, located in scenic Amador County, California. Along with private hypnotherapy sessions with Brandy, the center also offers nutrition counseling, massage and yoga by Kathrin Barstow of Swan Hollow Teachings. 2006 will bring an expansion of services including pilates, momma yoga with baby, all natural locally produced herbal rememdies, Baby Signs classes,prenatal massage and free weekly pregnancy/ parenting education classes.

In 2005,Brandy became certified by the HypnoBirthing Institute as a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator. This fulfilled a life long dream of working with families during birth.

Brandy brings her 17 years of motherhood to each session to teach with humor and understanding. As a mother of six children, she is passionate about the rights of children while understanding the challenges facing parents in todays world. Parents and clients alike often comment on how welcome and at ease they feel with Brandy.

Brandy is active as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for WIC. She is also an active member of the Amador/ Calvereas Breastfeeding Coalition and is excited to educate the community about the benifits of breastfeeding.
