MEET YOUR HYPNOTHERAPIST
Carla graduated with honors from Southern California’s HMI, the first nationally
accredited hypnotherapy college. A life-long learner, she continually strives to expand her skills to build
increasingly creative means to working with each client on a personal and individual basis.
Carla became interested in hypnosis after suffering from a whiplash injury resulting from a car accident.
Despite a year-long journey of physical therapy, acupuncture, pain medication, and cortisone shots, she
was still in pain. Eventually, she made an appointment with a hypnotherapist to discuss managing the
pain. After only 4 visits, she was pain-free! Over the next few years, Carla studied more about the
mind/body connection, and realized that she had found her true calling. While continuing her full-time
career as an auditor, she attended school on nights and weekends, accumulating over 1,000 hours of
training in hypnosis and related modalities. After 17 years in the corporate world, she resigned to pursue a
full-time hypnosis practice.
