In February, 2004, David-Uriel founded the Integrated Reflex-Reiki® system of healing, which is based on the philosophy that by working on the three primary components that comprise the human form: physical, energetic, and spiritual, using both Reflexology and Reiki, a multi-dimensional approach to healing is created with deeper and longer lasting health benefits for the client.

Then, in 2005, Susan Nowelll-Ott and David-Uriel founded Aviante Health and Wellness Center® (AHWC) in Thousand Oaks, California. At AHWC, they integrate the healing philosophy of Integrated Reflex-Reiki®, Quantum Bio-Feedback therapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu®, massage, dream journeying, shamanism, and many other healing modalities being practiced worldwide, to include allopathic medicine philosophies. Their philosophy at AHWC is, “By listening to what the client is experiencing, and researching the client’s lifestyle, we are better able tailor holistic health programs that best fit the needs of our clients.” In 2010, Susan and David-Uriel have added clinical hypnotherapy and low-level laser therapy to their practice.

Since the founding of Integrated Reflex-Reiki® and Aviante Health and Wellness Center®, Susan and David-Uriel have conducted numerous workshops performing Reflexology, dream journey workshops, and other healing and consulting services at various locations, including the Bodywork Emporium in Santa Monica, California and Kids and Families Together, in Ventura, California. David-Uriel has also provided reflexology services at various events, including the 2004 Run-Hit Wonder, sponsored by Nike, at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

David-Uriel holds a doctorate in Naturopathy and is a graduate of the American Academy of Reflexology and Clayton College of Natural Health. He is also a member of the Reflexology Association of America (RAA), the International Massage Association (IMA), and the International Hypnosis Federation (IHF).
