The Motivational Strategies Smoking Cessation Program

Consists of Four One-hour, Face-to-face Sessions of Individual Counseling and Hypnotherapy.

Get Started - Session 1 is an interview. I ask about your motivation, smoking habits, and personality, to design hypnotic suggestions tailor-made for you, sure to appeal to your way of thinking, and engage your unconscious mind—the source of true self-empowerment. You agree that when you return for Session 2 you will have thrown away all your cigarettes and you will not consume alcohol for 30 days, because alcohol is a relapse trigger.

In this session I will give you the behavioral guidelines that actually increase your chances of success.
By the way, I’ve had two clients who did not return after the first session. One dropped dead of a heart attack the next week, at the age of 51—due to smoking. The other was admitted to a hospital five days after the first session, to spend the next few months in an oxygen tent—after he collapsed from lung disease--same reason--smoking. These two people waited too long before deciding to quit. The sooner you stop smoking, the better.

Hypnosis - Session 2 is one hour of hypnotherapy with the main suggestion that you are glad you have stopped smoking. You will receive a copy of this hypnosis session on a FREE CUSTOMIZED CD. Research shows that hypnosis is more effective with repetition. Listen to the CD as often as you like to reinforce your motivation.

Evaluate Your Results - Session 3 takes place one week later. At that point about 85% of my clients tell me they have not smoked and have no desire to smoke. The remaining 15% are smoking far less. If you have not smoked, I’ll conduct another session of hypnotherapy to reinforce your determination to remain smoke-free. Dr. Judy Pearson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, psychotherapist, personal coach and consultant with post-graduate training in Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She has worked for social services and mental health agencies, the Federal Government, and in DoD contracting firms. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling from Catholic University.
