I was trained in hypnotherapy at Lifeturn Institute of Natural Health in Wake Forest, NC and received my certification in Integrative Clinical Hypnotherapy from the World Institute of Cognitive Sciences.
I have advanced certificates in pain management and energy psychology, specializing in dealing with past traumas.
I am a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists. I do annual continuing education to maintain my training at a high level. The National Guild of Hypnotists is the oldest and largest hypnotism organization in the world and its certification is the most widely recognized credential for the professional practice of the hypnotic arts.
My philosophy is that I am a guide or coach who helps a client to make desired changes in his/her life. Hypnotherapy is a deep state of relaxation, in which a client accepts suggestions for making the desired changes. Hypnotherapy allows the suggestions to bypass the client’s analytical conscious mind and go directly into his/her subconscious mind. The client is always in control and aware of what is happening during hypnosis. I guide clients to make positive changes in their own thoughts and behaviors so that they can live the life they desire.
Reiki Master
I was trained and attuned as a Reiki Level I and Level II Practitioner in June 2006, and as a Level III Practitioner and Reiki Master of Usui Shiki Ryoho in January 2007, by Deyann D. Davis, Reiki Master/Teacher of the Usui-Hayashi-Takata Systems of Natural Healing.
Energy Psychology Practitioner
I am certified in Energy Psychology, specializing in work with Trauma Victims, through the Center for Healing and Training, Inc. (October 2006). I am trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) through Lifeturn Institute of Natural Health (April 2004) and the Center for Healing and Training, Inc. (October 2006).
Spiritual Director
I am a registered Medium and Spiritual Counselor with The Church of Wisdom, and a Fifth Degree Initiate in The Holy Order of the Dove (June 2005). I am an Ordained Minister and Certified Spiritual Counselor with Light Healing Ministries (October 2006).
The Church of Wisdom (CW) is a non-denominational, non-profit universal and spiritual church. CW embraces all of God's truths, and the many ways He has revealed and expressed Himself throughout time. The Church was chartered in 1971 with the purpose of assisting and supporting therapists and healing practitioners in their healing ministry. The Church of Wisdom’s headquarters are located adjacent to Delphi University & Spiritual Center at 725 Old Silvermine Rd. outside of McCaysville, Georgia.
Light Healing Ministries (LHM) is a non-denominational group of ordained ministers and spiritual counselors who are trained and experienced in Spiritual Counseling, Energy Healing and Prayer. LHM has been training and ordaining ministers since 1996 and its ministers are nationally certified as Spiritual Counselors through IHF, the International Hypnosis Foundation in California.
