This New Year, We Start 2014 with a New Moon

This has not happened for 19 years and the astronomers are very excited because in January 2014, we have two new moons! We will also have shooting stars and Venus will shine brightly in the evening sky. Saturn will be close to our wonderful planet and our days will start to become longer. What a wonderful way to start the New Year!

It is like the Universe is saying “Okay, we are giving you a clean slate. Let’s fix what’s wrong with your world!”

How do you want to make your 2014 different? If you could have a clean slate, what would you change? Would you get rid of the habits or people that hold you back, that hurt you or do not offer you anything good and positive in your life?

Remember, this is your new page, your clean slate. You get to lay out your course of action. Now, I understand that some of you reading this will say, “But I still have my extra weight, sucky job, bills to pay, etc. How can I change?”

The answer is step-by-step and day by day. All great inventors had failures and obstacles; they were successful anyway because they got up every morning and started all over again. They did not give up. They believed in their visions, in their dreams, and they kept on moving forward toward their goals.

Lately, I have noticed that some of the people in my life really are not good for me. So I ask myself: Why do I need these people? Are they bringing anything good, positive or even helpful to my life? The answer is “no”, so very quietly, they will be removed from my life. I have made the decision and I will let them go.

In everyone’s life there are things or people or even jobs that (s)he needs to get rid of. These things are unhealthy for us, they hurt us and block out the good things in our lives, so we have to let go of those bad influences and move toward what is good for us.

Change is uncomfortable. However when we are in our control, it is much easier to let go of the negative and make changes that are good for us.

So here is your challenge—and I dare you to do it!

Write down your dreams and goals and how you want to achieve them.

Make a vision board so you can see them and can start to believe you will achieve them.

Record your new goals so you can listen to your voice saying them, or read the list out loud every night before you go to bed, and watch the changes happen.

When you do this, your mind and body say “okay, let’s do this!” And if a negative thought or habit tries to pop up its ugly head, decided what is more important. Your future and happiness or your poor health and unhappiness?
I know that once you start to think about it that way, the positive answer will come shining through.

It’s time to make significant positive changes in your life, stay on your new path on which you started and to continue to grow!

Wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
