When I was a child, my mother provided me with the best nutrition and health she could, using the information she had at that time. As an adult, I took that information and used it for my family and myself. I want to continue improving upon what my mother taught me, and that desire has led me to seek degrees in education, holistic nutrition, certifications in hypnosis, soul therapy, craiosacral therapy, and Reiki.

First of all, what is holistic nutrition? In the most basic sense, it is the balancing of the body through the proper intake of food, vitamins and minerals. It is also a way of looking at the entire bodily aspect – mental, physical, emotional and spiritual – and using all those components to assist the body in getting itself to heal, or improve its overall health and fitness.

Having always considered myself a teacher, I want to educate people and help them find ways to better themselves. After receiving a B.S. in Education, my continuing interest in health prompted me to learn craniosacral therapy. Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a method in which a practitioner uses touch to detect and correct restrictions and imbalances in the system of membranes and fluids that surround and protect the brain and the spinal cord. There is a core rhythm in the body created by that system. The rhythm is communicated throughout the entire body, and where there are restrictions, I am better able to treat the cause of problems rather than chase the symptoms.

I also trained as a clinical hypnotherapist (MHt). Hypnosis can be helpful in dealing with habit control, stress, excessive eating, smoking, fears, motivation, self-confidence, concentration, learning enhancement, pain management, insomnia, goal setting, relationships and other areas which lead to unhappiness, dysfunction or difficulty in achieving personal goals. Every individual has power available on demand, once the means of accessing such power are understood and utilized. With my training, I can help individuals use their power to achieve the full potential of their existence.

I have added Soul Therapy to my healing methods. I am one of ten Certified Soul Therapists in the world. My designation is Master Spirit Guide.

I currently have a practice providing craniosacral therapy, soul therapy, and hypnosis to the community. I feel Holistic Nutrition adds a whole new level to what I can offer. I am always seeking to add to my repertoire of healing methods. With a background in courses such as women’s health, longevity, vegetarianism and healing with colors, music and scents, I hope to meet the needs of those people who are looking for alternatives to traditional health care. I believe the body heals itself. However, if we don’t pay attention to what it tells us, or we abuse it by ingesting the wrong foods, then we will need some outside assistance. As a healing facilitator, I will use my senses to perceive the body, mind, emotions and spirit, and utilize the knowledge I have gained and the tools and methods I have learned to assist the person in their healing process.

I am associated with my own center – Spirit Education Research Center of Marion County ( the healing center on the edge of the forest), and have an office in Ocala.
