“I was born and raised in Europe and have been living in San Francisco since 1994. My journey in psychology and alternative healing has been a lifelong passion, and I’m most excited about bringing different modalities together to help people feel better and find more freedom in mind, body, and soul. I believe that when we take the time and opportunity to care for ourselves, we bring our best selves to the world around us—our families, our work, our relationships, and our communities. It’s about aligning our inner wisdom with our whole being and our actions in the world.

In addition to Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy and Reiki, I now offer Restorative Yoga to both individuals and groups. With the recent addition of Hot Stones to my healing practice, you can now enjoy the ultimate renewal experience with Reiki and Hot Stones while relaxing in a supported restorative yoga pose.

Hypnosis as a Powerful Tool for Healing:

Many of us have seen stage hypnosis shows, which, to be honest, have little in common with using hypnosis in a therapeutic or healing context. When we work with hypnosis in therapy, we use our intention to align our subconscious with the vision and changes we wish to bring into our lives. This process actually gives us more control, not less.

The subconscious mind, by definition, is not typically accessible to our conscious efforts. While positive affirmations may have a temporary calming or motivating effect, they often don’t address the underlying issues. Hypnosis, on the other hand, is key in accessing and guiding the subconscious, where real, lasting change happens. It enhances your control over aspects of your body’s function and sensation, as well as emotional and spiritual components that you might have thought were beyond your control.

Moreover, hypnosis comes without the harmful side effects that often accompany Western medicine drugs. Hypnotherapy has the power to remap our brains, as demonstrated by research on neuroplasticity (e.g., Norman Doidge’s The Brain That Changes Itself), and it can significantly change our lives by accessing the subconscious mind.

For instance, when someone quits smoking or overcomes another unwanted habit or addiction through hypnotherapy, they also learn how to manage other undesirable behaviors, cravings, or even unwanted thoughts of worry, fear, or anxiety. Hypnotherapy has proven effective in dispelling insomnia, improving athletic performance, preparing for and passing exams, boosting self-confidence, and increasing relaxation and pleasure.

Because we work directly with our goals and intentions to make these changes in our subconscious minds, I have found hypnosis to be much more powerful—and faster—than regular talk psychotherapy in bringing about real, lasting change.”

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
