Paul Gustafson, R.N., C.H. is an Affordable Certified Hypnotherapist near you, serving the greater Boston area

With over 12 years of experience, I’ve helped many people—just like you—navigate tough life transitions and come out stronger. My background as a Registered Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I spent over a decade in cardiac and pulmonary care, brings an added depth of understanding to my hypnosis practice.

I’m certified in medical, regression, and metaphysical hypnosis, and I specialize in helping individuals manage symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). My approach is rooted in truly listening to your unique experience. When we work together, you’ll find that my sessions are calming, informative, and designed to engage your mind in meaningful change.

You may have caught me on Boston radio or seen my show Healthy Hypnosis, which airs in 45 Greater Boston communities. I’ve also contributed to books like The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Hypnosis and Alcoholism and Addiction Cure, and authored Healthy Hypnosis: The Simple Truth and Practical Use.

From my office in Burlington, MA, I help clients with gastric band weight loss hypnosis, smoking cessation, insomnia, IBS, fear of public speaking, pain management, stress, substance abuse, fear of flying, and more. My gastric band program has received positive attention on Groupon, Angie’s List, and Wicked Local—and it’s helping people achieve lasting fitness results through the power of the mind.

What makes this work truly transformative is that I don’t just do hypnosis to you—I teach you how to use it for yourself. You’ll learn self-hypnosis techniques that not only support your main goal but also give you tools to overcome other challenges life may throw your way.

If you’re ready to take control and move forward, I’d be honored to work with you. Let’s talk.
