Why Does Your State Allow Smoking in the Same Car with Children Inside?
I just wanted to talk about the importance of the laws that prohibit adults from endangering innocent children.
This includes children all the way up to 18 years of age, who we tend to think of as adults by that time.

Are you comfortable in your own skin?
A lot of people are looking outside themselves for happiness.
They see other people that are happy and there is internal envy that says, “I want what that person has because that person looks happy! Their happiness is something that I want”

*Are You Tired of Doing Something that You Don’t Want to?*
Change is a funny thing. We tend to avoid it until we see a desired outcome
Change is something that we avoid sometimes, and embrace other times.
When we’re bored we want to do something different; when were satisfied we want to repeat the same behavior over and over again.
But what happens when we get bored of things that we enjoyed doing over and over again or if we do simply don’t like it anymore?
The best way to change is to look at something we no longer desire, and then to develop the desired outcome of no longer having it.
The change in behavior would be then automatic, because we want something else even more.
It’s like the donkey with a carrot: Change will happen as we gravitate toward the new thing that we want. It its inevitable.
With smoking, as an example, the first step is to develop a desired outcome, and all the benefits that come with stopping smoking.
The second step is to live the life of a non-smoker, and all the joy and energy that you have now as a non smoker.
Once we stop a habit that we don’t even want anymore, we can enjoy the healthier lifestyle that was, and now has become, our desired outcome.
Hypnotherapy can help you over the hump, by disassociating the triggers from the habit.
Most people have rituals when and where they smoke, and these have become triggers for a cigarette when they do the activity without a cigarette. There is separation anxiety associated with not bringing the cigarette along. The rituals, or habits, are in the back of your mind, and it can be stressful to cut them off.
That change begins with the decision to be a non smoker again, and if you’d like some help with the triggers, call a good hypnotherapist.

Michael Winter of USA TODAY wrote an article Friday about how the states of
Utah and Colorado could be raising the smoking age to 21
I was unaware that New York City and Hawaii County had already raised the age to 21, and would like to find some data on the effectiveness of such legislation as it becomes available. Apparently Maryland is considering it as well.

Mike Stobbe of the Associated Press (AP Medical Writer) Wrote a very good article recently, with a very provocative title called Experts increasingly contemplate end of smoking
AP Photo-Dan Grossi.jpg
I just wanted to compliment Mike Stobbe for bringing up up some very good points about predicting the end of cigarette smoking in America.
The title was very eye-catching and slightly biased, citing “Experts recently contemplate the end of smoking”, which is nice except, of course, you’ve got tobacco companies, and their lawyers, that are keeping the FDA at bay.
At this point, the FDA has had the authority to regulate tobacco products since 2009.

CVS Caremark, the nation’s 2nd largest drug store, has announced that it will no longer sell any tobacco products starting October 1st, 2014.
Tobacco products include cigarettes, cigars, and chewing tobacco, but there was no mention of electronic cigarettes, which CVS does not sell anyway.
CVS is in the wellness business and does very well with it’s “Minute Clinic” walk-in business.

So what is the most important thing to look for in a hypnotist?
Find one that listens more than they “talk”. We are born with 2 ears and 2 eyes that we should hear and see twice as much as we speak.
Develop rapport with the person and request a consultation either in person or on the phone, before for the sessions begin.

Nail-biting is something that I’ve been doing since I was probably five years old.
For many years I just did it without even thinking about it.
I can remember as far back as has 50 years ago of not being able to stop biting my nails. Of course, everybody would tell me not to, but it was something that was uncontrollable
